Schools register, not individual students. One teacher registers the whole delegation from their school. If you are a student, ask your school’s MUN teacher.

Registration is open until the end of Tuesday, 29 September 2026. The deadline was extended from the date in the original invitation letter.

Use the form on the Register page, or email the details to mun@lusakaoaktree.school. Both work equally well.

Any limit per school is still to be confirmed. The online form takes up to 50 delegates; for a larger group, please email mun@lusakaoaktree.school.

The registration asks for a first and second choice of committee for each delegate. How committees and countries are allocated is still to be confirmed.

ZMW 400 per school, plus ZMW 250 per delegate. For example, a school bringing 5 delegates pays ZMW 1,650.

The fees cover participation costs, meals and stationery.

In general, a Model United Nations delegate prepares by:

1. Reading their committee’s topic on the Committees page.
2. Researching the country they represent and its view on that topic.
3. Preparing a short opening speech that sets out their country’s position.
4. Thinking about which countries might agree with them, and what solutions they would support.

This is general Model UN advice. LOTSMUN-specific guidance will be added when confirmed.

Whether position papers are required, and the deadline for them, is still to be confirmed.
