Economic and Social Council

The Economic and Social Council is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations. It coordinates the UN’s economic, social and environmental work and is the central forum for discussing international development.

Generative AI is changing which jobs exist and which skills matter. Delegates will consider how states can support workers whose jobs are displaced, and how education systems should adapt so that young people are prepared for a labour market that is changing faster than curricula.
